Below are some examples of our recent projects by Parkequip. We work in varying environments such as schools, council parks, shopping centres, child care centres and much more. With over 20 years experience, we are proud of our workmanship and the final product we deliver for our clients.

School Projects
Greystanes Public School
Our Playsense Play Units are a great economical solution for schools. It's range of set designs, using a smaller flat bar aluminium post system incorporates all the great components we love from our huge selection of slides and climbers, these playgrounds will keep the kids of all ages entertained for years! Finished off with a natural timber edge and bark mulch, having a new play space doesn't have to break the bank.
Caroline Chisholm School
With a small unused space needing something to keep the kids engaged, we installed our heavy duty Arch Frame swing with a locally sourced net swing seat to address the needs of the students. Finished off with a rubber surfacing using a combination of colours gave this bright green effect. Installed during Sydney's terrential rain even, the site became a bit of a muddy mess so we are looking forward to seeing the grass grow back!
Mt Riverview Public School
2022 is all about colour and with the introduction of a new colour range, this Mt Riverview Public School Playbooster System is a stunning example of how colours can create a vibrant and inviting play space for the children to enjoy. Coupled with some of our most popular free standing items, Mt Riverview now has a beautiful play area that will last them for the years ahead.
Blaxland Public School
Set amongst the beautiful backdrop of the Blue Mountains, this Playbooster playground and it's gorgeous colour palette has made a huge impact to the play space of Blaxland Public School. With two slides to cater for children aged 5 through to 12, the design also has lots of challenging climbers to keep the kids busy in their play time. All set under a large hypar sail shade structure to keep them cool in the summer.
Barwon Valley School
Barwon Valley School located in Victoria required a playground design that suited their community with kids of all abilities. Children that needed wheelchair and mobility device access, but also children that required challenging climbers. This wonderful Playbooster design ticked off all those boxes with 2 fun slides and packed with wheelchair accessible sensory panels.
Charlton Christian College
Keeping the school community fit will be a fun experience with this Outdoor Fitness Area that incorporates our three fitness lines of Healthbeat, Fitcore Extreme and Playbooster Fitness. A combination of the various pieces allowed the school to choose the equipment that best suited their needs and budget. The area was completed with a bright blend of blue CSBR Pre Colour Rubber.
Oxley Park Public School
This recently completed sports court was a huge project. Difficult site to access but the end result was worth it! This once boring asphalt area is now a bright multi purpose sports court with CSBR Pre Colour Rubber Wetpour, Line Marking, Concrete Edging and two reversible Basketball/Netball Towers. This court is going to be getting a lot of use!
St Thomas More's PS
Located in the ACT, St Thomas More's had an old tired playground structure, but a beautiful space with huge potential. The old playground was removed and a new Playsense Play unit installed into the existing bark mulch area with existing shade. The bark was topped up and a whole new play space created for the children to enjoy.
Chester Hill Public School
With a beautiful big tree to work with, a sensory play area was created for the junior area of the school. This included outdoor musical instruments, talking tubes, drop shot tower, cozy dome and some GFRC natural balancing pieces. The school now has a great place that is shady, engaging and fun!
Winston Hills Public School
Winston Hills Public School were looking to update a tired old area to a bright new play space for their Special Needs Unit. With the introduction of pieces specifically chosen for their high sensory advantages this area has been transformed into an inviting, fun and useful play space. The area was completed with a repaired retaining wall and TPV Rubber Surfacing.
Jasper Road Public School
The special needs unit of this school needed a huge transformation to replace its outdated equipment. With the use of a bright EPDM surface, a bike track was created. This leads the children on a path of discovery to lots of inclusive and sensory based equipment.
Redhead Public School
An old dilapidated playground removed to make way for a Playsense 301 and Cozy Dome. The pre configured Playsense range was ideal for the school’s project. It fitted in the existing space they had and providing lots of climbers and sliding activities.
Spring Farm Public School
Spring Farm Public School consisted of 5 separate play areas. These covered a mini Fitcore Extreme circuit with CSBR Rubber Pads and an outdoor Rhapsody Music area with Synthetic Grass. A Sensory play Panel zone was also included, and then a general play area. This consisted of a Cozy Dome, Block Climber and Fly Wheel with CSBR Rubber.
Tregear Public School
Two areas were covered at Tregear Public School. First was a fitness circuit consisting of their pick of the Fitcore Extreme range that suited their school. Along with a Hemisphere Climber and Drop Shot Towers. An additional area featured the Playsense 301. All were finished off with CSBR Pre Colour Rubber Surfacing.
Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College
An unused hill side was transformed into an outdoor fitness circuit using the Fitcore Extreme range. This was finished off with a plush 30mm thick Summer Prestige Synthetic Grass Surfacing. Installing along a concrete pathway added to the challenge of the circuit. Once complete, the kids then run back up the hill to start the circuit over again.
Evans High School
This high school located in Blacktown needed shade, shade, shade! We provided for them a bus shelter, a smaller picnic shelter with a concrete slab and a huge double Hip Roof Shade Structure. Now they have plenty of places to shelter from the sun! The Hip Roof Shade area was then finished off with Synthetic Grass, Concrete Pathways and a Running track.
Yennora Public School
Two areas were worked on within Yennora Public School. The first area in their special needs unit required new equipment, rubber surfacing, sandpit and shade. The second area was their old asphalt basketball court that was transformed using CSBR Pre Colour Rubber Wetpour Surfacing creating a bright, fun and usable space for the children.
Council Projects
Cumberland Council - Canal Rd Park
A beautiful little pocket park has been given some new life! An existing bark pit was cleaned up and repaired, filled with new bark mulch and some new playground equipment. An additional space was created for a swing set using a concrete edge and bark mulch. The playground area features a Playbooster Playground with stainless steel slide, a Curva Spinner and a Starburst Climber.
Cumberland Council - Greystanes Sports Ground
This project had the lot! Parkequip were responsible for all the landscaping works as well as the play space. This included concrete pathways, sandstone edging, planting and garden bark. The play area itself features a Playbooster Playground with Stainless Steel Slide, Spider Web Climber, Curva Spinner, Talking Tubes and a fun double swing with a large Birds Nest Seat and standard swing seats.
Mid Coast Council - Shade Sails
These stunning new Hypar Sails over an existing play space at Oxley Reserve, Harrington have introduced some much needed shade. The Mehler 580 vinyl canopies are certainly accented by this beautiful coastal backdrop. A double sail structure was also installed at Central Park, Wingham over another existing play space.
Burwood Council - Grant Park, Enfield
Challenge yourself with this awesome Fitcore Extreme Fitness Park. A free running fitness experience takes you through a course of ninja style equipment. Test your speed against the clock, with the course timer. Race yourself or race your friends! Increase your strength, agility and overall fitness in the great outdoors. This is the new way of fitness. A shoutout to the crew at Duff Fitness who came and tested the park for Burwood's Grand Opening!
Liverpool City Council - Miller Park
Located in Miller in Sydney's South West, Miller Park combines a range of equipment to suit all ages. From the Smartplay Venti which is packed with 20 challenging climbers for the older children to the Smartplay Cube. The Smartplay Cube targets the 2-5 year olds with intricate panels to test their fine motor skills.
Lane Cove Council - Mindarie Park
Lane Cove Council envisaged a fully inclusive play space to welcome children of all abilities. Mindarie features a Playbooster play unit with multiple access ramps leading the user to large platforms at various heights incorporating sensory panels and climbers along the way. Featuring a Sway Fun Glider, GFRC rocks and custom log slide along with multiple accessible swing options. Finishing off with a bright TPV rubber design.
Hawkesbury Council - Gov. Phillip Park
Despite the Sydney Floods of 2021 hitting mid install on this project, the end result will be a beautiful spot for the community to relax whilst the area recovers from the devastation they endured. We had only just laid the concrete slab when the entire area went under water. Weeks later once the water had subsided, we were able to complete the custom skillion shelter with timber screening and trim.
Central Coast Council - Umina Beach
A challenging AdventureScapes rock with outrigger nets become the main play feature in this pocket park of Umina Beach. The GFRC product range also included Mushroom Steppers, Log Bench and The Stepper mini rock climber. Finished off with a Single Post Swing Set, concrete edging and mulch.
Blacktown City Council - George Alder Reserve
A Playbooster unit with some height! Featuring the Double Swoosh Slide and Portal Climber, kids are definitely challenged! Not forgetting the 2 feature rocks from the Canyon Range, that add some unique climbing experiences for kids of all ages. Beautifully presented with concrete pathways, bark mulch and sandstone blocks for parents to chill and watch the kids play and explore.
Fairfield City Council - Showground
Recent Project at Fairfield Showgrounds – A large shelter was required for their outdoor BBQ space and this attractive custom shelter with colorbond feature slats certainly created an attractive finish.
Child Care Centres
Horsley Kids Early Childhood Centre
Works at the fabulous new Horsley Kids Early Childhood Centre have now been completed and it's been an honour to be a part of this spectacular new site! All timber products were used to give a natural feel and a custom mod wood deck with water pump and dry creek bed are the central feature. A combination of surfaces were used to complete the project with 30mm Summer Prestige Synthetic Grass, TPV rubber discover pathway and CSBR/SBR mix surrounds.
Kindi Kids Child Care - North Ryde
An inviting play space for pre schoolers and toddlers is an important aspect for any child care centre. This beautiful outdoor area was created with the use of a Playshaper Treehouse unit, feature GFRC products and bright TPV rubber combined with Summer Prestige Synthetic Grass.
Unity Juniors Pre School - Austral
A combination of a Playshaper unit specifically designed for the littlest of users, shade structure, CSBR Rubber Surfacing and a Rubber Bike Track transformed this blank canvas to a fun play area.
North Rocks Child Care Centre
2 shade structures were installed, a Hip Roof Shade Structure over an existing sandpit and a Hypar Sail Shade over the open play area.
Gumbirra Pre School - St Clair
Gumbirra Pre School – A small play space required shade however, posts from a standard type of structure would have created too many obstructions in the area. A custom fixed corner arm umbrella was installed to provide the shade needed but the added benefit of a single post structure meant no unnecessary posts intruded the area.
Miscellaneous Projects
Moorebank/Liverpool Dist Hockey Club
This newly completed spectator shelter for the Moorebank/Liverpool District Hockey Club is nothing short of spectacular! A whopping 50m long, this Skillion roof shelter was installed over a newly poured 3 tier concrete slab to create much needed shade and shelter for the spectators looking over the two Hockey Fields. We are sure the club will be using this new facility for many years to come.
Discovery Parks - Ballina
Discovery Parks are a group of Holiday and Caravan facilities located throughout Australia and Discovery Parks Ballina is one of the facilities located on the beautiful north coast of New South Wales. This project replaced an old, tired play area and now is a bright and vibrant, inviting play space for children of all ages. Featuring 3 slides, a free standing Butterfly Rocker and finished off with CSBR Pre Colour Rubber Surfacing.
Greenway Plaza - Wetherill Park
Greenway Plaza is a bustling local centre filled with lots of food outlets, fashion stores and gyms. Many patrons spend hours and an outdoor play area was desperately needed but space was limited. Our Alpha Tower was the impact feature that fit that the bill perfectly! It’s 6m height can be seen from throughout the centre and it’s compact size packed with lots of activities has become an extremely popular area for parents to chill out with a coffee while the kids enjoy the area. Complimented with some Playshaper Sensory Wall Panels, a funky custom Shade Structure and CSBR Rubber surfacing.
Moranbah Fair - Moranbah QLD
A bright new play addition was made to Moranbah Fair shopping centre with an eye-catching Weevos unit, customised picket fencing and TPV rubber wetpour surfacing.
Stanhope Village - Stanhope Gardens
An inviting toddler play area is a big plus for a shopping centre and our toddler Nook unit was a perfect fit for this project. Along with custom Lady Beetle & Leaf sculptures, TPV Rubber Surfacing and Synthetic Grass, custom picket fencing and Sensory Playshaper Panels inserted, mums and dads have the perfect setting to enjoy a coffee while the kids play.
