The simple interlocking TuffTimbers border edge system is ideal for sandpit surrounds or as a retaining edge for playground mulch. The border edging when assembled creates ideal seating for children, is cool to touch and will not rot or splinter.

Standard Specifications
Each panel length is a standard 1200mm long, 300mm high and 100mm wide. It has a concealed interlocking Pin. Rotationally moulded high density polyethylene compoll LL6488 UV stabilised plastic. Standard Colour is Black.
We can also organise other styles of sandpits including those made from concrete with rubber wetpour, as well as sandpit covers.
Custom Sandpit Covers can also be made to suit your sandpit. We use a Covermesh 460 material which is a high-tenacity yarn coated in flexible PVC. It is a breathable, has high tensile strength, UV-stabilised, and rot-resistant. It allows the sand to filter through the fabric but keeps vermin out of the sand. With the use of a lightweight chain sewn in into the hem of the fabric, this assists in weighting the cover down into place without the need for fiddly loops and ropes.
